Promoting Healthy Living through the Reduction of Substance Abuse and the Increase in Health and Wellness for All

Ways to Give:

Gateway is able to provide many of our services based on private financial support. Those programs we tailor to fit your needs and the needs of our community are the most difficult to fund. Without your added support, we are limited in what we are able to provide. Please consider donating even a small amount to our various programs. You may choose which programs you would like your donation to fund. For example:

Life and Recovery Coaching

  • This program assists individuals and families in life planning for healthy living. Gateway could assign a Coach to your family that would assist in basic or advanced life/family/health/work balance issues. This Coach would work with you or your family as a unit.

Faith Based Training

  • Gateway has the ability to train action groups in your congregation so that they are aware of drug, alcohol and mental health challenges. These action group members would then have necessary skills to refer individuals and families to an appropriate care provider.

These are only a few of the programs we fund independently. Please consider contributing to these and other programs that enhance the quality of life for families in this community. Gateway leadership staff would be honored to speak with you about any of these or other initiatives. For more information, Please call 405-273-1170 ext. 120 to reach Sallie McLaughlin.

Accreditation and Funding:

Gateway received international accreditation through CARF, Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, for the clinical sites in Shawnee, Stillwater, and Chandler as accredited Integrated Services Programs:  Outpatient Treatment for Adults and Children and adolescents.   The prevention site was accredited for Prevention for Children and Adolescents.

According to CARF, the value of accreditation goes beyond a competitive distinction for service providers and a framework for continuous quality improvement.  Achieving accreditation requires a service provider to commit to quality improvement, focus on the unique needs of each person the provider serves, and monitor the results of services.

Our services are partially funded by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS), Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET) and United Way of Pottawatomie County.  Their continuing support allows our centers to continually thrive in serving individuals and families.
